San Gimignano.

"Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?"
Matthew 18:33
Lord, help me to forgive as I have been forgiven.

Yesterday we ventured to San Gimignano, also known as "San Jimmy Johns". It was so breathtaking. The town is so medieval, known for it's 14 remaining towers. San Gimignano lost over half their population to the Black Plague and in their weak state were taken over by Firenze and forced to tear down most of their towers. The town is so incredibly beautiful. I wanted to stay there forever. These pictures don't do the views any justice, but check them out!

The town is known for their white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, as well as their saffron. I had the wine with a saffron seasoned pasta for lunch and they were so delicious!

Here's the pasta. It was the best lunch I've had here so far. The restaurant is right in front of the Sant'Agostino church.
and Nielsen, my cousin, had this pasta dish and it was heavenly!

So many more pictures to come in the next few days!
