Freely you have received; freely give.

I want this to be true of me.

Here are some photos that have been inspiring me as of late.

A blog that I am loving: Busy Bee Lauren. She posts about the Hunger Games very often, a favorite topic of mine. If you love the Hunger Games, cute style, or fun people in general you should definitely check out her blog.

Have a great Saturday!
For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves...

What has been inspiring me lately are pastels, Karlie Kloss, and long, pretty hair.
Also, Trend Forum is a great source of inspiration.
And my new netflix obsession: Portlandia. Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein are hilarious! I also really want to go to Portland. Before the show I had wanted to go to Portland to see Powell's (the worlds largest bookstore). Now I want to go because it just looks like the coolest place! Filled with culture. And Powell's.

What has been inspiring you?

Make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.

A Chilly Saturday.

all photos found on tumblr

The cold has been inspiring me lately. There is a beauty in feeling the pure warmth of the fire, especially after walking in from the chilly outside. I know I have gone on and on about my love for fall and pumpkins and such, but now it is finally feeling seasonably appropriate in Columbia. Well, sort of. It's also the time of year that my hands crack from dryness and my hair begins to generate electricity, but I won't go into the negative side. I only wish I had a fireplace by which I could read my books and write to you. Until then, cozy up in a fur coat and drink some apple cider for me.

Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Moving Mountains.

Sorry for the delay. I meant to have this post up yesterday, but life is very busy again. As if it ever paused.
This weekend I went to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with Greek Impact. We had an away game at UT in Knoxville and stayed in beautiful cabins with a spectacular view, as you can see.
It was a great time and a great game. But now I am facing a never-ending todo list and I am afraid this blog may have to suffer this week. I also feel like I don't have much to blog about right now. It's cold out, too cold for comfort, and the days are dragging on.
I am ready to go to Italy next semester. Today I finally felt like it was where God wants me to be. I had been afraid to come to Him with this decision in fear that He might not want it for me. A few days ago I finally let go, and He gave it back to me. All summer I had been thinking about how I need this, not what is my Heavenly Father telling me I need. But when I give it to Him, I remember that He is my creator and knows what's best for me. Easy to say when things are going as I like, but the same is true in every situation.
Hopefully I can fit some posts in this week, but until then enjoy your week. Be inspired.

[Jesus said,] "The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful."
