Step.

As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?
Psalm 42:1-2
It's you that I'm searching for. It's you that I long for.

I found this graphic on tumblr the other day and thought, hey, why don't I share this song I've been obsessing over. So here you go. Please enjoy on your Saturday. Step-Vampire Weekend.

Foggy.

So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves.
Galatians 5:16

Don't you just hate it when you go outside and your lens fogs up? I do. Summer problems I guess. But I'm actually very pleased with how these pictures ended up. What do you think?

Earthy.

You, Lord, are my lamp;
the Lord turns my darkness into light.
2 Samuel 22:29

This dress is a favorite of mine and my Mom's. Lately I have been obsessed with nude and earthy colors. I give all the credit to my favorite fashion blogger, Rumi Neely of Fashion Toast. She can pull off natural colors and flowy shirts and dresses like nobody's business.

Have a great Thursday! Tonight I am going to see The Black Keys for the second time this year. Can't wait!! Here is one of my favorite songs though I can't say I've ever heard one I didn't love!

Indian.

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:14
Press on.

I am so excited to show you a very special necklace, today. A beautiful friend of mine brought it back from India for me. I have a thing for Indian jewelry, I think. Such statement pieces, basically the only jewelry I wear.

Tractor.

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:15
Romans 8 is probably my most favorite chapter in the Bible. It is highlighted and underlined over and over again in my Bible. Each verse carries so much truth. This morning, I was thankful to read this verse. I let things of this world stress me out far too easily. Yesterday I was worrying over the most insignificant things. When I read this I was reminded that I am a child of God. He loves me perfectly no matter what. I have been adopted as His child out of pure grace. What a wonderful thing!

Posing with a tractor. How editorial of me. It's a nice change of scenery though. These photos were taken at my family's horse farm like my last post. Lately we have been spending a lot of time out there, well into the night. I've been sitting in my eno and gazing at the stars. It's been very nice.

A Little Like Jordan Baker.

"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
Hebrews 11:1
This chapter in Hebrews is all about the people of the Bible who lived by faith. It was very convicting to see all of these people who risked it all for Jesus. They gave up everything. They had faith.

This shirt reminds me of something Jordan Baker would wear on the golf course. So feminine yet perfect for the women of that day, blurring the lines.

Adventures in Savannah.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9

This is a delayed post from my adventures in Savannah last week. We had a blast. I can tell because of my lack of photos. Please enjoy. I have an outfit post coming at you tomorrow so get ready. Have a great day.
