#lilfamgoestoroo: Roo, Day 4

 Broken Bells

Our last day at Bonnaroo was a great one. We saw Arctic Monkeys, Broken Bells, Avett Brothers, and Elton John! We made new friends and had a wonderful time. Until next year!

#lilfamgoestoroo: Roo, Day 3

I didn't take many photos of all the performers on this day. Probably because it was the most amazing day musically. I saw Seasick Steve perform with John Paul Jones, then First Aid Kit, Cake, Cage the Elephant, Phosphorescent, James Blake, and Jack White. Obviously, Jack White was my favorite, but every performance was great. All of these photos were taken at James Blake, which blew me away. I was also obsessing over the light. I couldn't not take a bunch of photos.

#lilfamgoestoroo: Nashville

And now we have reached the last stop before Bonnaroo, Nashville. It was so cool to have the chance to visit this place. I've always wanted to see it and it was so very different than what I had pictured. But magical all the same.

We visited Third Man Records, of course. I was speechless in the store. It was like flying very close to the sun, being in the store Jack White owns and frequents. We also visited the Frist Museum of Art and saw some beautiful exhibits. We then met up with my beautiful friend Christina. What a wonderful day it was.

Bonnaroo posts begin tomorrow!

Right now I am in NYC chasing dreams so get ready for many photos from there as well!

Watch in Hope.

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
Micah 7:7

I thought I would take this Sunday to share a little faith post. Today, thanks to the wonderful generosity of my aunt, I am flying to NYC to look for jobs. As I've shared before, it has been my dream for a while to move to this big city to live and work. This time of limbo post-graduation has been grueling to say the least. The Lord has taught me a lot about patience and trusting in His plan.

I know that many of you are in or have been in similar situations and to you I say this: His plan is so much better than you could possibly imagine. I say this to myself as well. We don't know what the future holds. We are not in control of a single thing in our lives. Not a single thing. Instead of being frustrated by this, find rest! The God of the Universe is in control of your life. Would you really want it any other way?

Find rest today.
