I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. May my meditation be pleasing to Him, as I rejoice in the LORD.
Psalm 104:33-34

Today I am 21. It's been a wonderful birthday. I am so thankful for all of my incredible friends. I am very blessed. Here's to the next 21. May it be filled with more wonderful friends and experiences with the addition of delicious wine and cocktails.

Pretty Things.

...be made new in the attitude of your minds...
Ephesians 4:23
How beautiful is it that we have a God who can renew our minds and make them more like His.

Here are some of my favorite things I've been seeing at Anthropologie recently.

All sources available on my pinterest. Along with more pretty things.

Have a beautiful day.

Music Monday

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Music Tuesday: Jack White

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33
Today I'm thinking about what seeking Him first REALLY means.

Lately, I've felt like Jack White's songs go straight to my heart and melt it into a little puddle on the floor. And if someone can write a song that does that, man, he's got to have some serious talent. I am very obsessed with Jack White's album Blunderbuss. Every song is beautiful in itself and the album as a whole is, in my eyes, perfection.

Have a great day!

River Rocks.

He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
Luke 10:2
This weekend was wonderful. My sorority had formal on Friday which was a blast, then on Saturday some sorority sisters and I went to the MS Walk. It was the most beautiful morning. Then in the afternoon I went to River Rocks music festival. The light was absolutely perfect and the weather was ideal. I wanted to stay there forever.

Have a great Monday!

Music Monday: Tame Impala

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
James 5:16
I've never been much of a prayer person. I do not like sitting still, alone and talking to God. I have trouble focusing. I like being busy, occupied, and prayer has never been something I felt I needed to do. I began writing my prayers a few years ago, and I found it really works for me. Writing makes me feel like I'm doing something a little more tangible, and it's much easier to organize my thoughts when I can see them right in front of me. But in the last year or so, the Lord has been showing me the importance of quiet time spent before Him. Not writing, not even talking, but listening. He knows I have some serious trouble with this. Sometimes I feel so distracted. But other times it's incredibly relaxing and peaceful.
I am so thankful #SheReadsTruth is focusing on prayer for their current reading plan. And I loved the verse this morning. Prayer is so powerful. The Lord WANTS to bless us in so many ways, and oftentimes, all we need to do is ask.

In other news, it's time for another Music Monday. You may have heard of this band. I am ever so grateful for my sister for introducing me to Tame Impala. I am an avid Beatle lover, if you didn't know...and Tame Impala has a very Beatle-inspired sound. A little more electronic, a little more trippy, but beautiful all the same. Great music to jam out to in the car. An ideal quality for me in a band. Anyways, enjoy.

My Favorite Jacket.

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100:5
You are SO good.

I know I have worn this jacket in numerous posts. Seen here and here. In my opinion, it's perfect. It's so comfortable I feel like I'm wearing a sweatshirt, it's unique in color and pattern, and just always seems to bring an outfit together so effortlessly. It's been an incredible busy week so I decided on comfortable shoes, and easy jeans and tee.
