Shaken.

I can't believe it's already July! Above are some more pictures I've taken at the horse show. I've been far too busy for an outfit post, I am terribly sorry. But I hope you enjoy the photos!
This week has been quite eventful, to say the least.
I've worn Lavender, been Home, felt Delightful, and was Cloudy

Delightful.

This week and through the weekend is the NCHJA Annual Horse Show. It is certainly a great part of my summer. My mom has been organizing much of it and I came out to help last Sunday. At the Hunt Horse Complex in Raleigh the Arabian/Mini horse show was just finishing up.

 So cute!!
 Tiny horse trailer!

Necklace from Anthropologie
My sister, Olivia, and I stopped at Whole Foods on the way home last night and bought us a wonderful dinner. Though I can't remember the name, the pasta was fantastic! And we had some green bean salad on the side and Italian soda to drink.
So how about last night the Gamecocks won the COLLEGE WORLD SERIES! For the second year in a row! What a fantastic team. I am so proud to go to the University of South Carolina.

"Pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you."
2 Thessalonians 3:1

I hope you are having a great week! Happy Wednesday!

My Life.

I know I talk about my horse a lot. But seriously, he's one of the best parts of my life. The whole horse world has made a huge impact on my life. Unfortunately, current circumstances have inhibited my competing. Last weekend I got to judge a ring at a local horse show which was a blast. I had the chance to catch up with friends and see all that I have been missing this year. So, here's a glimpse into my world. And some more pictures of the horse who holds my heart.

 Hardy.

 At the show.

I have missed that life more than I thought possible. Change seems to have been getting the best of me lately. But there's nothing we can do about it. I am simply along for the ride.
I hope you enjoy the photos! All taken by me. Sorry for the lack of fashion, my face swelled up again. Apparently one of the sites where my wisdom teeth were removed is infected and I am back on antibiotics. So I haven't felt much like dressing up.

"Be still and know that I am God."
Psalm 46:10

This verse applies to every situation imaginable. And easy to remember.

Ocala #1

So I'm at a horse show in Ocala, Florida. I drove 10 hours here, and woke up at 3am in order to shower and leave by 4:30am. It was quite the trip, but I saw some pretty incredible skies, and landscapes. Except for this one moment when the car in front of us had some explosion and a dense smoke covered our traffic group. It was the single most terrifying moment of my life. Imagine going 7omph over a bridge and all of the sudden not being able to see a thing! I slammed on brakes, assuming my dad in front of me would do the same. Then I thought about the cars behind me and if they were going to brake or not so I let off the brakes. The smoke cleared and there was our golf cart trailer an inch from my new brush guard. I braked just in time as to not smash into it. My heart has never beat so fast in my life. I was terrified.

But on another note, it poured here. Although it is 20 degrees warmer here than back home, so I really don't mind so much. I rode in this frog strangling weather, and my pants were completely soaked. As I was walking down to the ring I couldn't help but think "if this isn't dedication, then I don't know what is."
